About Therapy with Me

Therapy provides a space for exploration.
In therapy, I provide clients with a confidential, nonjudgmental space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, thereby fostering healing, personal growth, and self-understanding within a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Our early sessions focus on establishing the therapeutic contract and building rapport. As therapy progresses, clients often gain deeper insight, develop new coping skills, and experience greater authenticity and self-acceptance.
Throughout our work together, I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard, supported, and accepted just as you are. During our interactions, I stay fully present and compassionate, meeting you in the moment with empathy and understanding.
Together, we’ll work at your pace, focusing on healing, growth, and finding balance.
Each person’s experience is unique.
Some clients may feel relief and self-compassion, while others may encounter difficult emotions that, though uncomfortable, are essential for meaningful growth.
The therapeutic relationship remains central throughout, emphasizing collaboration, trust, and the gentle exploration of life’s complexities. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard, supported, and accepted just as you are.
In our sessions, I stay fully present and compassionate, meeting you in the moment with empathy and understanding. With over eleven years of experience, my approach is client-centered and deeply trauma-informed. I work with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, grief, and life’s many transitions, including those living with ongoing medical issues or caring for a loved one.
Together, we’ll move at your pace, focusing on healing, growth, and finding a sense of balance and peace.

Healing from trauma is possible.
Through therapy, you can find safety, strength, and connection. When life feels overwhelming, healing begins with feeling safe.
Trauma can have lasting effects – shaping how we perceive ourselves, interact with others, and navigate the world.
As a trauma therapist, I believe that healing unfolds best in a space where people feel seen, heard, and respected. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support clients in processing and moving beyond the pain of their past experiences.
Whether your pain stems from a single event or ongoing experiences, therapy offers a space to reconnect with yourself and begin to heal gently.
About Angela Isaia, LCMHC, EMDR Therapist

My mission is to help clients overcome challenges.
For the past 11 years, I have been compassionate and dedicated to walking alongside individuals as they navigate the challenging terrain of trauma and healing.
My approach is rooted in genuine compassion and deep empathy, as I strive to be truly present in every moment with my clients, meeting them exactly where they are, without judgment or expectation. For each session, my priority is to create a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can explore their stories at their own pace.
My commitment is to honor your unique journey, listen to your needs, and offer gentle guidance as you rediscover your strength and resilience. If you’re seeking someone who will hold space for you with kindness and understanding, I invite you to take this step toward healing together.
The overall goal is to help you feel secure enough to explore what’s difficult and empowered enough to move forward. Healing is not about “fixing” what’s broken. It’s about reconnecting with your authentic self and reclaiming peace in your life.
Experience and training guide my approach.
My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, recognizing that each person’s experience is unique and deeply personal.
I integrate evidence-based practices such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and mindfulness to support healing from trauma, anxiety, and emotional distress.
Some of my specialties included helping clients dealing with trauma and PTSD, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, caregiver stress, and chronic medical issues and adjustment.
